Why We Created Shae & Palmer (And What it Means to Us)

I’ve always believed that the things we surround our children with, whether it's the clothes they wear, the books they read, or the spaces they sleep in, have the power to shape how they feel, how they move, and how they grow. As a mom of two little girls constantly on the go, I quickly realized that the clothes they lived in (especially pajamas!) were doing more than just keeping them cozy at night. They were with them through morning snuggles, backyard adventures, spontaneous dance parties, and every messy, magical moment in between.

That’s really where Shae & Palmer began, not just as an idea, but as a need.

I wanted sleepwear that felt as soft and safe as a hug, but that also reflected the kind of aesthetic I love: clean, elevated, and thoughtfully designed. I couldn’t find anything that blended comfort, quality, and style in a way that felt truly modern, and more importantly, kid-friendly. So, like many good ideas born out of motherhood, I decided to create it myself.

Shae & Palmer is rooted in the belief that beautiful things can also be practical. That comfort and playfulness can go hand-in-hand with quality and simplicity. And that even the tiniest pieces, like a favorite pair of pajamas, can make a big difference in how our kids move through the world.

This brand is deeply personal. It’s named after my daughters’ middle names because, well, they’re the heart of everything I do. But it’s also for every parent who’s ever wished for sleepwear that feels as good as it looks, and can keep up with their kids’ everyday adventures.

We’re just getting started, but our hope is that Shae & Palmer becomes a part of your family's most cherished moments, just as it's become a part of ours.
